Camargo Salvage LLC Return Policy

STANDARD TRADE PRACTICES OF THE AUTO DISMANTLING INDUSTRY AND SELLER

  • The seller is not responsible for any defects or safety hazards in used parts; it is the buyer’s
    responsibility to inspect for safety hazards or hire an expert to inspect.
  • Full payment is required before parts are removed or ordered from other sources.
  • Exchange parts must be turned in at the time of purchase or a core charge will apply. This core charge will be refunded upon return of the exchange parts within 10 days.
  • All warranty is VOID if parts are dismantled.
  • Engines: Guaranteed against rod knock, cracked block, and excessive smoke for 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • Transmissions: Guaranteed to work properly and gears are guaranteed to be in good condition at the time of purchase.
  • Rear Ends: Guaranteed to work properly; gears are guaranteed to be in good condition, and bearings are guaranteed to be without material noise at the time of purchase.
  • Alternators, Starters & AC Compressors: Subject to a 24-hour return period or 1 business day.
  • All electrical parts are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. No responsibility is taken for improper installation or external electrical issues.
  • Radiators: Guaranteed not to leak at the time of purchase.
  • Batteries: Sold AS IS, with no guarantee.
  • Customers are responsible for proper installation and usage after the time of purchase. The
    seller is not liable for any consequential damages, including labor charges, loss of income, or car
    rental charges.
  • The buyer’s remedy against the seller is limited to a refund of the purchase price or an exchange of a replacement part if returned within the policy’s timeframe.
  • Customers must provide the original invoice when requesting a return. Camargo Salvage LLC must inspect parts before a refund can be authorized.
  • Parts are non-returnable 30 days after the date of purchase unless stated in writing at the time of purchase.
  • A 25% handling charge applies to accepted returns.
  • Returned parts must be in the same condition as when sold and are subject to inspection by the seller.
  • By leaving the premises with the part, buyers acknowledge that it is in acceptable condition with no visible damage and that the part is not eligible for a refund due to damage.
  • A part may be returned for a replacement or a refund within 30 days, in accordance with the specified warranty terms, unless sold “AS IS.”
  • A 25% restocking fee will apply to all returned parts that are not defective, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
  • All deposits made on parts are final and non-refundable.
  • Cash purchases under $100 will be refunded in cash.
  • Cash purchases over $100 will be refunded via check, processed by management, and sent via US Mail within seven (7) business days.
  • Check purchases are subject to a 10-day hold before refunds are issued.
  • Credit card refunds will be issued to the original card used if all requirements are met.
  • No warranty on labor is provided.
  • There are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond the description provided.
